Japan's Demographic Warning

Japan's population has already declined by nearly six million people from its peak in 2008. As Japan continues to have one of the world's lowest birth rates as well as a relatively low level of immigration, Japan's population is forecast to fall below 100 million people by the year 2058, and below 80 million towards the end of this century.
